Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
4.0

Personally i gave this book 4 stars exactly; it was close to being three stars. Let me just start with i really enjoyed this book and it kept me interested all the way through. I feel this series in a whole as such a strong potential to engulf me. I just feel as if the first book was kind of a prep for the rest of the series. I wont go too in depth i just wanted to touch on some things. A point that i found annoying was the repetitiveness in the authors writing and phrases, this is for all the characters. Also, there didn't seem to be any real development between Adam and Juliette. Along with the fact that their love was an overwhelmingly prominent part of the story that it felt as if the problems of the story was being watered down, maybe even suffocated.
But i cant help but smile at my infatuation with each individual character. They each have their own personalities that stand out. Especially Warner, he is such a deeply crafted character that i essentially explode when he comes into a scene. Also, Juliette time at the prison was also very well crafted and exciting to read because Juliette sees everything in such a poetic prospective. Lastly, The shower scenes with Adam where down right perfect.
I am looking forward to reading the next book.
