a high 3.75 i think? just not quite a 4 star read for me i absolutely hate how alex proposed to rune i think that took so much advantage of her in a vulnerable state. some of the twists were predictable but some i didnt see coming at all, and i definitely enjoyed the story and worldbuilding but this wasn't anything mind blowing. i did like rune & gideons dynamic but i feel like something was missing there wasnt much depth to them to say they supposedly fell in love. overall a fun story and a good read but just a few problems for me that stop it being a four star
