Fictional story of a Jewish forager, Eva, who escaped from Paris in the early days of the Nazi occupation to a small town in France.  She becomes an integral part of the resistance by forging documents so children can escape to Switzerland.  She records their real names in a secret code in a book in a church (this is the book of lost names).  Well written story.  Although it is fictional it is based in fact that occurred during WWII.
