Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents
by Isabel Wilkerson
Honestly, one of the best books I’ve ever read. Isabel Wilkerson’s writing is just perfectly illustrative and engaging.
I consider it a truly great work of non-fiction when I’m frequently introduced to new information and am so intrigued by what’s been presented, that I go and begin researching further into what I’ve just learned. I lost count of how many times my newly-whetted appetite for knowledge had me pausing to search for more information on a person or incident discussed in the chapter.
This is essential reading. There are people in my life that I wish I could make read this.
