We Can't Keep Meeting Like This by Rachel Lynn Solomon

3.0

I think it was a sweet coming-of-age story, there were aspects and ideas I enjoyed. Didn't always love the execution though.
Unfortuntely, I too hate grand gestures, so I cringed a lot.
I thought the MCs were refreshing, I appreciated the specificity of their backgrounds. I just got a little over both of their black-and-white worldviews.
I liked their dynamic in theory, but with these two, I just never felt the spark... I think they should've been friends at the end.
