This is a journey on which you accompany the main character and maybe even yourself. As someone with a lot of "mental health stuff" and suicidal ideation, this hit home and not in a "you got this, boo!" sort of way. I was emotionally affected by this book and hence, I can not write a critical review but all I can say is it helped. I hope it helps you, too. 
And like a volcano she couldn’t run away from herself. She’d have to stay there and tend to that wasteland.
She could plant a forest inside herself.
