Kiss the Girl by Tara Sivec
5.0

Where do I even start? I loved Ariel's story. I am still in awe over Belle's story the most. After reading the struggles that Cindy and Belle went through inside I was eager to see what Ariel had hiding underneath.

Out of all three characters, I found myself relating to Ariel the most. Ariel is a girl who is blunt, full of life and doesn't take anyone's shit but after being verbally abused it is easy to have self doubt in every situation. This book is where I laughed and cried the most. Self-appreciation and self-worth is what this princess had to work on for herself through this novel and boy did she have a hot, steamy man to help her with that.

These books were absolutely consuming. With the issues that the girls faced on their own and what their relationships had to endure the books were still light hearted with funny puns and blunt comments. I have never laughed so hard in a book let alone a series in a while. Cindy, Belle and Ariel's friendship is something I admired. I loved reading about three girlfriends who stuck up for each other and had each others backs. Hats off to you Tara for provided strong willed female characters who built each other up instead of tearing other women down.

I am at a loss right now trying to decide what I'll read next in the romance genre. This book consumed my time, my thoughts and my heart. This is my first ever book hangover and I'm so glad it was based off of the re-tellings of three Disney stories that I adored when I was younger.
