This will be full of spoilers so look away now.
it opens with Bryce being in ACOTAR world and while i thought it would be them helping to save Midgard, i coulnt have been more wrong. Bryce mainly deals with Nesta and Azriel, and it ends with them being enemies.
I found the whole novel moved along at a breakneck speed,  nobody seemed to be able to take a breath just to think about things. Bryce seems to have all these hidden plans that the rest of the characters joke about it. She hate  all Dannika's secrets, then keeps too many of her own.  I liked that Ithan kept trying to do the right thing but it kept getting worse.Much better than the perfect Bryce plans.  In typical SJM, nobody ever dies, or if they do they get brought back to life somehow. Its been played out, go a different route.

Despite all that "and more" I enjoyed the book, mostly for all the action.  If you take it as a purely action thriller type its great. For fantasy it was too messy and while it made out it was high stakes, we know SJM so it never was really.
