one of my favourite tiny queer books <33

nancy is asexual and she says she isn’t aromantic but the way she describes how she feels about relationships feels very aro. also she quite literally says “i don’t want to be in a relationship with anyone” my love that’s. being aromantic.

kade is also so important to me because he was one of the first trans characters i (a trans man, too) identified with when i first read this in when i was thirteen or fourteen.  The Fairyland he goes to that kicks him out? very much identified with that. nothing wants you when they realise you’re different.

i’d also like to point out that i’m in love with jack. am i aromantic and a man and is she in love with a woman (i Think she’s a lesbian but i’m not Positive)? yes. but she has my heart all the same. so does christopher and sumi and nancy tbh 😭

murder mystery my beloved <3
