When Death Takes Something from You Give It Back: Carl's Book by Naja Marie Aidt

4.0

Reminded me a bit of Mourning Diary by Roland Barthes. The book comes in fragments, in the same way that we experience grief. It's a hard read that will make you ache, but Aidt's depiction of grief is so incredibly accurate. It also made me think a lot about the way when someone dies, we return them to the earth. We give them back.
