Becoming
by Michelle Obama
I just finished this book, and feel like I've just had a four hour conversation with a good friend. Michelle is straight to the point, and gives her audience insight to her childhood, college years, life with Barack, life as FLOTUS, and life as regular mom that happens to live in the White House. I felt like the book grew as she took us through different stages in her life, starting out simple using everyday terms, then transporting us into her lawyer world and ultimately life in Washington D.C. and all of it's complexities.
I appreciate the pace, and for the intimate details of her upbringing and hardships, giving me a much deeper appreciation for this woman.
