moiraburke 's review for:
The Count of Monte Cristo, Part 2
by Alexandre Dumas
"What do you mean you've never read any Dumas? You probably have, or at least read his plotlines absconded by other authors - deception, poison, revenge of the little guy, secret love, messed-up inheritance laws, and a freakish kid who decapitates roses. This was my first exposure to the author, and I recommend it only if you don't have any important work for the next four days. Once you pick it up, it will become an extra appendage."
