Review:

Wasn't very well put together, but I did enjoy the theme

Review previously placed on my blog:

I'm currently reading Koud water (Cold water) by Kelli van der Waals. Reading a Dutch copy from the library. Reading this for my Reading more nonfiction challenge.

The chapters in the book feel a bit random. The overall topic isn't made very clear. I do think the topics themself are interesting. The writing style is not really for me.

At the end of the book it says this is a compilation of essays the author wrote for various magazines. And yeah, I figured. I really find that a bit cheap to be honest. The story also just really didn't flow, it really felt like essays put together. Which is fine, but say that at the beginning. I do think the essays were well written (sometimes a bit much with certain language, but okay) and the overall theme was good.
