I know what you've done...
The haunting line of the ghost that sees all wicked you do. Helen Franklin is a nondescript translator in Prague. Her journey has begun before this story, in her past when she lived briefly in Manila. This story describes a truth for many people who have done something of which they are not proud. Guilt could consume one, if allowed. Although gothic and frightening in atmosphere, the ending message is surprisingly one of hope and redemption. Helen is nondescript because she is Everyman, and if she can forgive herself and feel hope tugging at her soul then could not we do the same?
