Mr. Masters by T.L. Swan

3.0

This is a book club read but also a re-read for me. I enjoyed Julian's character most over the nanny. I especially liked on how they would address each other would be indicative of the their moods or environments. Julian's quips were laughable. There was more depth to the book due to the daughter's angst towards her father and discovering her sexuality. I think if the book didn't have this aspect, it would have fallen flat. I can't remember if I've read more of the series. I went to read Mr. Spencer, but it didn't sound familiar nor am I jumping to start it. I think I've leave this series for now. I've read other TL Swan's and if I remember correctly, the Italian series overlaps at some point. The interactions between the friends especially when the one tells them his story of having a threesome, then being given a blue pill, and proceeds to have sex all night, was hilarious! Honestly, one of my favorite parts. Epilogue's are one of those things that I look forward to in books. Not all authors do them, but TL Swan's epilogue for this book was fantastic as it went forward several years and gave you updates on all of the characters (excluding the friends, obviously because they have their own books).
