this book is so twisted!!
intentionally abrasive and uncomfortable but in a way i can tolerate- the plot is this way rather than the protagonist being so, which is what would be more likely to put me off. the author did a really good job of making me extremely uncomfortable while reading. i found myself sympathetic towards the protagonist and almost kind of cheering on the weird and strange things she did in the name of rebelling against the factory.
the kind of audiobook that made me nervous about it suddenly disconnecting from my bluetooth headphones and connecting to someone's speaker instead.
overall four stars it was challenging and i feel quite well-paced and i can't think of what i didn't like about it other than being unable to help wondering whether it went almost too far at times for me to keep going. i don't know!! twisted and meaningful
