Mean girls meets bridgerton is an apt comp. The light tone sometimes felt at odds with the dark plot points, but if you’re a fan of alexis hall’s something fabulous, I think you’d enjoy this. Netted out somewhere between three and four stars. I also appreciated the efforts to make it not all white and straight, but also I felt like there wasn’t any exploration of the characters race beyond the fact that they weren’t white?? and like is lady campbell okay???
