Going Rogue by Janet Evanovich
5.0

Going Rogue by Janet Evanovich is fabulously written with the perfect amount of humor, explosions, and Lula-isms.

Will Stephanie be able to save Connie before it's too late?

Stephanie

Stephanie is a bit different in this book. I feel like she has some character growth. She seems to understand herself a bit. At least she learned to shoot a gun. She remains faithful to Joe Morelli but is still deeply attracted to Ranger. Stephanie continues to make friends and enemies in Trenton. Rex (the world's longest-living hamster) is the perfect pet for her.

Going Rogue CRStephanie has a pretty good moral compass. She is a loyal friend, respects her elders, and tries to treat people with dignity and respect. However, not everyone deserves it or continues to get that treatment.

I like that Stephanie is different from the other ladies in the burg. She does her own thing even if she knows that her mom would prefer she did things differently. Yet, she looks out after those in her family and Joe's family. Like babysitting Joe's grandmother Bella for a while. Although taking her on an apprehension may not have been what anyone expected. However, Bella enjoyed herself, and everything worked out for the best. You don't want the Eye.

Things to watch for:

  • What happens to Grandma Muzar's handbag.

  • The colors Mrs. Plum uses in her scarf, along with the length.

  • Mr. Plum's reaction to Bob.

  • Bella and the Eye.

  • Lula's camouflage outfit and accessories.

  • The temporary bail bonds office.

  • The two explosions.

  • The blackmailer's victims' justice.

Five Stars

My rating for Going Rogue by Janet Evanovich is five stars. I love this series. Ms. Evaonvich always surprises me with something. She has this knack for bringing the normal everyday to life with added humor. I highly recommend this book and series. If you haven't read any of Janet's books, this is an excellent series to start with.
