Teen Angst? Naaah... by Ned Vizzini

5.0

Ned Vizzini has this unassuming air about all of his writing, and it shines through in these essays. Even when he writes about his life after getting publishing contracts, it's still as though he's just bumbling about in life, taking what opportunities come to him. Though written in first person, we are no more inside his head than he wants us to be; he's truly mastered the temporal distance of intimate closeness without letting us truly know anything at all.
