Long Walk to Freedom: The Autobiography of Nelson Mandela
by Nelson Mandela
This was incredible, everyone should read this - especially white people. So much is still sadly relevant today. From the break down of his experience and thought process that leads him to endorse and plan for violent protest, to the setbacks he consistently meets with hope, to the eloquent way in which he reveals and explains the undocumented power and effect of white supremacy, to the narration of his prison experience - it is a deeply thought-provoking and moving 750 pages.
