An absolutely beautiful book, the prose is lovely and so lyrical, Piranesi is quite easy to read and despite the repetitive setting, doesn't get boring at all (I literally inhaled it in like two hours lol.) and you can really get inside the character's head… both in a good way and a bad way.
Tldr, be wary of reading  this if you are mentally ill,  because omg piranesi plagued my mind for days and days on end no matter where I went or what I did, it made me feel sick and paranoid and like I was crazy and awful and just overall not good.
It really fucked me up haha, but apart from that, it's a great book.
