Fabulous middle grades steampunk! I am glad I read the Parasol Protectorate before this. The PP made EE so much funnier and not quite so far-fetched.
This is a Battle of the Books staple for NC and it's a really fun read. I highly recommend it if you enjoy steampunk or books about girls going to a spy training school disguised as a polished finishing school.
