All the Dark Places by Terri Parlato

3.0

Decent debut. Looking forward to reading more by this author. All the Dark Places is about a murder that exposes dark secrets at the center of a group of friends and sets two women – one with a traumatic past, the other a Boston police detective – on a hunt for truth.

I enjoyed the dual POV, short chapters, and length of the novel. I also enjoyed the sister relationship of Molly and Corrine. The story seemed pretty straight forward with Jay being murdered in the first chapter, but there was another reveal that I definitely wasn’t expecting. Then as Jay’s murder is being investigated other cases come into the mix. It wasn’t too much to follow but it did water down the supposed main plot of who killed Jay.
