A great, enthralling tale, told by one of the most interesting, complicated and "human" protagonists that I've ever read. With my lack of knowledge in Greek mythology, every twist and turn was unexpected, but even if I had known what was coming, the weaving of Circe's stories would still have been endlessly captivating. Miller has drawn an incredible character with complicated motivations and varied emotions, graceful and powerful and unfolded it onto an spellbinding story for Greek mythology scholars and the rest of us mortals alike.
