Ok i’m going to start with my spoiler free review but furthur down I will have my spoilery one.
This was so cute! Emmitt and Mina were absolutely adorable and I loved them so much. The mental health rep was great too and I really appreciated that they didn’t just have Mina’s depression be magically fixed when her and Emmitt got together. I did have one problem but the rest of the book was good enough that I was able to ignore it. Overall, this was an amazing book and it deserves more attention. 4.8 stars

While I loved the majority of this book I had one major issue with it and that is the character of Rosie. God I can’t even explain how much I absolutely hate that self absorbed waste of space. Rosie is supposed to be Mina’s best friend but really she was just a selfish asshole the entire book. The whole time I just wanted to scream at her oh i’m so so sorry your best friends life doesn’t revolve around you! I understand that her trying to escape her abusive household is really hard for you. I wonder why she didn’t want to talk to you about Sophia? Maybe it was because you were snapping at her everytime she brought her up and didn’t ever communicate with her and just expected her to read your mind? Who knows
