Immortal in Death by J.D. Robb

3.0

Lesson one - do not go after Eve Dallas's best friend. Ever.

In the third book in the "in Death" series, Mavis is accused of the murder of a model and Eve must prove her innocence, if she is!

The secondary story here was of course Eve and Rourke's wedding, which she seems to actually get into a bit!

Overall this book was just ok for me. The series is formulaic, so I need to be sure not to read them too closely together. Also, I'm listening to them on audio and I think that is affecting my opinion of them.

For example - the voice for Peabody is atrocious. Everyone seems to really like Peabody and I just can't because she sounds like she has a perpetual head cold.
