Reading the summary on the back of the book intrigued me. I thought I was getting a dark horror story about a woman using witchcraft to get over her abusive ex and the hex ending up backfiring. This book left me disappointed and dissatisfied. I mean in a way abuse can be horrific but I was expecting something darker and more morbid. This was a hard read. There were parts in this book that just didn’t make sense and the story was so boring, I didn’t care to even try to make sense of it. I had to force myself to finish it. I kept waiting for a plot twist or something interesting to happen but nothing ever did.
