I'm a sucker for books with dogs in them, especially herding dogs. So there's that.
The disease that was a threat in here (shedding rabies) was kinda terrifying to me. I can imagine what that might do to our dog population. That part of the book made me a little anxious.
The whole magically influenced battle at the end came & went kinda quickly.
But the book was easy to read and enjoyable.
