I have no words for how truly incredible this book was: well thought out, well planned, well executed and well written. It’s an easy read with a feel of high-fantasy but not nearly as long as is usually needed to build a world of this caliber. This has everything from fated mates to enemies to lovers, action and adventure and love, and of course, some great spice throughout. The narrative is far from boring and, thank goodness, doesn’t overuse convenient “disruptions” throughout, but rather drives the characters together and separates them in more organic ways. I truly enjoyed reading every word of this novel and I honestly cannot wait to reread it at some point in the future. I will absolutely be reading the next books in the series and can’t wait to read more by Mulford.
