Now, that.. was hectic. I've owned this novel since 2015. There's no good reason why I put off reading it for so long, but with the new movie coming out (and Mads Mikkelsen starring in it) I knew it was time. And boy, was the reading experience unlike anything else I've ever read. This book is non-stop action from page 1 to page 479. I thought dystopian was a genre I'd grown out of, but Patrick Ness never misses the mark. I have the rest of the series on my shelves and I can't wait to finish it!
