Playing Nice by JP Delaney

dark emotional mysterious tense fast-paced

4.5

Oh this book was so πŸ‘πŸΌ good πŸ‘πŸΌ. I read this in just a couple of sittings and could not put it down. The plot grabbed my attention instantly: I LOVE a storyline that makes you question what you’d do in that situation and keeps you on your toes and engaged throughout.

I’m not yet a parent, but the horror and anxiety of the situation was palpable, and a credit to Delaney’s writing that I could feel emotionally attached to a situation so strongly.

SUPER short, snappy chapters made 400+ pages a breeze to fly through and the flawed characters and intriguing, unpredictable storyline combined to make this a super fun domestic thriller with a killer twist. I really couldn’t predict where this was heading or how it would conclude, but the ending was so cleverly done. I’d highly recommend reading this! πŸ™ŒπŸ½
