4.25 stars! I’m so happy I read this book!!! It sat on my shelf for awhile because I was unsure what to expect but omg! Bonnie’s writing is nothing like I’ve ever read before. Sometimes it was a tad bit confusing because she jumps around a lot but I loved her approach. Can we also talk about how she gave the dog a voice!!! I mean!!! The only reason I rated down a bit was because there was a ton of scientific talk (obviously) and my poor little brain didn’t quite understand sometimes… haha There we’re many many twists and turns that I didn’t see coming and was wrapped up beautifully in the end. Loved it!

This book is the definition of a beautiful story about woman’s challenges in being taken seriously. Specially back in the 50’s. I could only imagine. Should I become a scientist now?
