So Thirsty by Rachel Harrison

3.0

there are moments of horror here that are quite effective however this feels like the horror version of the romanticy genre. Not bad just one foot in both camp’s without fully committing to either. Nothing much really happens and it feels more like a first in a series than a stand alone novel. I probably would have liked this better as a series tbh. It’s a fun set up just a weak payoff.

The highlight of the book is the relationship between Sloan and Naomi. The both kind of suck but female friendships are so rare in horror and really romance that it was nice to see their relationship was as much a focus as the romance.
