This was an odd book to rate. Thr story is well written dark Fairytale. The world and atmosphere were on point. But i was just not a fan. I had to force myself to pick it back up but once I did I wanted to finish. Most of the time I didn't care what happened to the characters and I guessed early on the "twist". The romance was instalove but it didn't feel like the relationship was the point. There are some very graphic scenes that are definitely going to put people off of this book. The list on content warnings it long and graphic.
I am unsure how I feel 100% but I would recommend and definitely grabbing more Ava Reid
