The Captain's Daughter by Alexander Pushkin
4.0
As always, Pushkin is transporting- for a few hours I was in 18th c. southeast Russia living every moment with these characters. And then for a few hours more I went down a rabbit hole reading about real-life Pugachev and the Cossack Rebellion!
