I suppose on the whole, I liked it. I didn't love it, but I can appreciate it. It's poignant. It's linguistically beautiful, but it is BLEAK. Maybe sometimes we all need something bleak to balance out the happy endings.

Poor Giovanni and poor Hella for falling for a guy like that. David, you coward.
