Everyone in Leila’s life was horrible!!! I didn’t like any of these characters at all. My dislike for them grew the more I read about each of them, but I was interested enough to want to know what happened.
I would’ve liked the court room scenes to be a bit more tense. I found them to be boring as compared to the other parts of the story. I’m not usually one to pick up a thriller. This one was fine. It was pretty fast paced and I was intrigued by the initial premise of an accidental death of a child. I suspected the twist pretty early on in the book so the reveal in the end wasn’t too shocking.
