Truthfully, I didn’t finish this book. Not that it wasn’t good, it was fine. Not that I didn’t agree with what was written; I did. But it just didn’t offer me anything new. I am almost 40 and if I had read this somewhere between ages 18-22 I probably would’ve been obsessed with it. But I started thinking the way the author did back then, and have devoured books on this topic since. So it just fell flat for me. But I think it works as a good intro to feminism for teens who find her through Instagram, and I don’t mean that in a derogatory way. That’s just the way of the world these days and that’s okay. Just not my cup of tea.
