This book is everything I love.
Contemporary is not my favorite genre mostly because I found it weird and unreal (when it’s main characteristic is being realistic) but this book is amazing.
I can’t start to say how much I loved it, the characters, the problems they faced, the pacing, the tropes, the relationship, basically everything in this book is amazing.
Aaron and Lina are one of the greatest couples that I had read.
She truly is likable and relatable and I sympathized with her through the whole book.
And him, oh my goddess, he is such a perfect love interest. The way he talks, acts and never gives up on Lina just makes me wanna cry (because I never have I ever been in such a situation, sadly).
Her struggles are real and sad, and the way she is trying so hard to overcome them is inspiring.
Aaron took me out of a situation in which I couldn’t stop thinking about how every male love interest lately has been so similar that it was hard to tell them apart. He is different, he cares for her and is constantly showing her his love (his love touches all the time, it makes my heart drop) He is memorable.
This book is amazing, it truly is. But what makes it a 4,75 star book and not a 5 is that at times I felt that they are too many things happening at the same time and they were not very much explain (for example the short term eating disorder of Lina and the weird relationship between Aaron and his father)
Please, read it. We all need an Aaron in our lives (even if he is just fictional)
Read you all later.
