Ne'er Duke Well by Alexandra Vasti

4.0

I’m a big fan. This cute historical romance filled a hole I didn’t know I had. From the beginning, I loved Peter and Selina and even when I got worried in the middle that things weren’t going they way I wanted, Alexandra kept me interested and hopeful.

Peter is a relatively new Duke. He inherited the title, despite being rather far down the line of inheritance and moved from Louisiana to London about two years ago. When he learned of his half siblings, Lu and Freddie, and their mother passed away, he went to court for custody.

However custody isn’t going to be easy to come by. Luckily Selina is on his side and has a plan to get him married and more likely to win the court case. Except she can’t be on the list, despite being rather fond of him.

There are some poetic licenses with the historical accuracy of some characters actions, but the modern girl in me loved the characters, their responses, and the story itself. This is a quick read, an all around feel good book. Would definitely recommend.
