I wanted to love this book but it did not grip me — I feel like both I and the author wanted it to be an immense world and it just isn’t! But I also blame the fact that I was trying to finish it before it was due at the library - it felt like a bit of a chore until the last fifty pages and I happened to have a rejuvenated enjoyment. Good, not An Immense World, learned some stuff - like about the noise the aurora makes!
