Utter madness. This is one of the greatest stories I've ever read. I'm contemplating rereading it again in a few months. There's so much to unpack. It's an overwhelming novel densely packed with meaning. All at once hilarious, terrifying, solemn, and historical. I definitely recommend this version, which has footnotes explaining some of the more esoteric symbols and references. Just wow.
