The Lights of Sugarberry Cove by Heather Webber
5.0
I've been a fan of Heather Blake Webber for some time. She writes wonderful cozies, paranormal cozies and these wonderful magical fiction novels. This is my second and will definitely not be my last.
I like the warm feelings the story evokes. The magical, mystical part is really mellow, it's there but not overwhelmingly so. Enough to believe and smile. The story is mostly family and relationships and those ties that bind and bring us home.
There are life lessons to be learned throughout. I would love to live in Sugarberry Cove and know the residents. I think my favorite character is Uncle Camp. He's steady, funny, warm, and a huge help around the bed and breakfast.
Even though I figured out the path that the book was meandering, it was a delightful journey. A wonderful escapism tale and I look forward to many more from Heather Webber.
I can definitely recommend this book and author.
