Absolutely amazing and it kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish! I honestly did not expect the plot to move in the direction it did, but I'm so happy with how everything is turning out. I cannot wait for the next book!!
Aurora Bellarosa begins this book alone, afraid, and traveling on a deserted road in a rain storm until she literally runs into three strange men. With nowhere to go and already running from danger, she takes them up on their offer for help and goes with them to their remote home. Sounds like the beginning of a horror story right...well, mostly right. Seven, Elijah, and Atticus aren't quite what they seem, but Aurora isn't either soooo it's a twisty turny story with ALL the wonderful dark vibes.
My favorite of everyone is Seven; there is no denying I love ALL the flags when it comes to a dark romance and Seven was freely flying them from the moment he met Aurora. I loved him instantly from the moment he crashed into her car right up until the last cliffhanger page. Seven is totally mine. 😉
As for Elijah he is the glue, although some may argue it Atticus, but I'm going to say it's Elijah and his quiet strength. He is sweetness and caring wrapped up in a soothing demeanor that just seems to calm everyone, especially his hotheaded friends.
Then there is Atticus, the controlling grump who is organized to a fault. He definitely has issues and is the toughest nut to crack, but he's also the one who keeps everyone healthy and functioning, so it's hard to fault him at times, but basically an a-hole with a good heart.
All three men work well together because they all rely on one another and have for years and years, but when Aurora falls into their laps she could mess everything up completely, or finally be the answer to their problem. This book is full of mystery, suspense, and lots of heat. I couldn't set it down for hardly a moment and I can hardly wait for the next book.
