How to Pronounce Knife by Souvankham Thammavongsa

What a gift! I checked this set of short stories about Lao folks on a whim and while each story packed emotional punches, Thammavongsa's writing was some of the most straightforward writing I have read in a while. It's definitely a 4.5 read for me that gets the round up to five stars because I want to read it again in a few months.
