Moonglow by Michael Chabon

Throwing in the towel on this one, I am 1/3 of the way through and I just can't get into it. Someone wrote in a review, I feel like I am stuck at a party listening to a drunk guy go on and on about his grandfather. That sort of sums it up for me. I didn't like the way he never gave names to his grandfather either, it kept him too disconnected from me. And he was supposed to be on all these "adventures," but they were just boring stories. This was my first Michael Chabon, not sure if I should read something else because I really didn't even care for the writing.
