I loved this second collaboration between Victoria and Marie. I already knew some of Mary Bethune’s history (having been born & raised in FL in addition to visiting Bethune Cookman University) but there was more of her personal history in this historical novel that I was unaware of. Similar to Eleanor Roosevelt. I knew some of the First Lady’s background but not to the extent this book discussed. Overall, well researched and articulate
