I don't see this as a sequel to the explosion of creativity that Howl's Moving Castle is. 
I didn't care for the plot (involving A Bazaar carpet seller, djinns, magical carpets, and a genie). The characters from the first book are not very present. 
I also have to mention the fatphobia this contains! 
Overall I am very disappointed.
