I was little surprised how the plot of this played out - given the premise I thought that there would be a bit more of a physical battle between Melinoe and India. What we get is a quicker transition to cautious allyship and then feelings, which I do wish had been more methodically developed. I do love how Reid explored so many aspects of the extreme capitalistic society the characters are beholden to, up to and including how the book ends.
Graphic: Violence, Injury/Injury detail
Moderate: Suicide, Sexual harassment
Minor: Sexual content
