Doing It Right
by Harloe Rae
I really liked the way this second-chance was handled.
It was also an interesting approach to the small-town boy goes to the NFL trope. He found the success he was looking for, but
The way Mason and Archie took to each other was really sweet as well. I was swooning right along with Presley.
It's been a while since I read the prior books in this series, but now I want to go back and re-read them.

I was a little worried when they got together what seemed like "too soon" in the book. I thought they might end up with another separation, which they thankfully did not. Presley needed some time to trust Mason again and they got that time together to build their relationship, which was lovely. It was also an interesting approach to the small-town boy goes to the NFL trope. he also found that there can be a dark side to celebrity and money. He had obviously soured on that long before his injury. Rather than coming back mad at losing his career, he was very much over that and no longer willing to sacrifice his love for Presley. That was so touching. Despite the years apart, their love was real and strong. The way Mason and Archie took to each other was really sweet as well. I was swooning right along with Presley.
